How bad are Utd? They work it into good positions and then give it away with awful passes to absolutely no-one
 
Mourinho becoming a bit of a high end McCarthy these days, pick your team predominantly on personality or work ethic and scatter in enough attacking players to hope they can conjure something up. There's no real pattern to their play that you can see, he gets them organised for the most part and wants them to put the team above the individual at all times but none of them look like they really work together at all.

Because it's completely open to interpretation whether it was deliberate handball or not. Not a case for VAR.

A game for the purists today. Devoid of any real entertainment and two managers who are tactical astute but not very entertaining. Fair play to Conte he managed well tonight.

Didn't think it was too bad (compared to the 2007 final between the two teams it was a masterpiece), both specialise in front running and shutting the game down where possible from a narrow lead.

Number one priority for United (if they're sticking with a similar system, which Jose will) has to be the full backs, they offer absolutely nothing going forward. Plod forward, get near the final third, lay a shitty little five yard pass inside, allow everyone to regroup. Diabolical.

That's why I'm surprised Jose doesn't have a plan B as it's madness to think you'll lead in every game.

Unbelievable scenes at the end. VAR decision on potential penalty to Bayern. Was a pen imo but neither assistant or ref could be sure it appears, from the corner Frankfurt player scores on break! Thrilling stuff
 
Awful cup final shocking.

Jones was useless, did not think Young did that bad was ok going forward did not get beat much defensively, certainly not as bad as described on here.
Rashford was awful, Sanchez as bad, Smalling looked the best of Utd defenders, and he's not going.
Cahillmay just have played himself in front of Jones, thought he played really solid at the back.
Neither team were that adventurous.
No pen for me hand ball needs to be deliberate that was not, he tried to pull his arm away.
