Downing is fucking dreadful, my word.

Huddlestone has to play deep. Fantastic footballer, agree that you need legs around him. Livermore and Diame (if he can be bothered) should be able to provide that. How Hodgson stil refuses to pick him is beyond me though

Didn't he score his first ever league goal in a game for Wolves against Derby, the club who had just cashed in on him and sold him to Spurs?

You should never admit to things like that Alan :icon_lol:

Yes! At one point we had him and Mark Davies in the team in midfield for us I think and things didn't seem so bad.

Ah, Ben Arfa. One of my pet hates. Freddy Eastwood syndrome with him at Newcastle, he's a fat waster with a terrible attitude. He was before he signed for Newcastle as well.

Delicious backheel by Vio Ganea to set it up.

I was pretty close to picking Albion as my team becuase I liked the badge.

.....and to think we wouldn't have had to waste hours of reading shit about Jody Altidore. Another reason not to like them.

Oi, leave Alan alone, he's with me. It's a rehabiliative process.

I could easily have gone with one of the big clubs, but no, I had to make things difficult...

Pretty sure I remember a game away at Watford where Hoddle decided to pair him with Darren Anderton.

The game I was going to, got the team news on the train just outside Watford Junction shortly after 2pm, Leon Clarke on the left wing, sacked it off and went straight through to London and met my mates five hours ahead of schedule. Fuck watching that.

Now that would be a sight.

We had Carl Cort on the other wing.
