unimpressive half from us. Slow and pedestrian and inviting pressure. One definite penalty saved , one dodgy penalty scored. Deserved lead for them but we need to do more. If you dont create then you dont score. How many first halves is that?
too many first halfs

Not a good half. Tempo is so slow, and we look like we came with zero interest in trying to attack.

Plenty of time yet but we really do struggle against teams that play three CBs, I feel.
We seem to struggle against anyone who shuts the door on our wingbacks

My main issue is, bar the last 5 minutes of the half, we looked like a side that were more interested in making sure we only lost 1-0, rather than a side who wanted to win the game 2-1.

Not a single shot on target in that first half simply isn’t good enough. Leicester are a good side but we don’t do ourselves any favours.

You just know our changes will be Traore, Moutinho and Marcal already as well.

Not a good opening half at all.

Looks very West Ham this but not as bad, we’ve created absolutely nothing RAN looks a bit ra it in the headlights at the moment.

I'm still not convinced Podence/Neto offer us what Jota offered.

We've been shite so far but I feel Raul had better link up/understanding with Jota. He's not looked as fluid to me since.

Well, I’m sure if we win the game, this will be called out for being overly negative, but that first half was really poor.

we are seriously slow with our passing, we have no creativity, pod, Neto and Ait Nouri have been seriously lightweight and at the moment we are lucky to only be 1-0 down. I don’t remember an actual shot so far.

hopefully Nuno can work his magic at half time.

oh, and that first penalty is bollocks - the balls smacked at him from two yards away. The games being turned into a sad shadow of its former self.

The problem starts before we get anywhere near the CBs, we get the ball on the half way line, slow everything down, take a touch, big looping cross to the other side of the pitch, then either cross into a box devoid of Wolves players or someone tries running and just ends up getting dispossessed.

A strange way to play, especially when it's on the counter.

Like Jinky said, it's frustratingly pre-Palace

It seems like they are targeting Ait-Nouri and overloading that side and he has struggled to cope. May need to think about Marcal coming on.

I'm still struggling to get over that penalty decision. So much wrong with it. Linesman had perfect view of it and didn't give it. Then VAR gets to look. Then they make ref look at it in slow motions. Absurd.

In terms of our performance, think Leicester have pinned us back really well. Some of their combinations in the middle been very nice to play through Donck and Neves. Podence and Neto not really got themselves into the game as having to drop too deep.

And yet, they have created fuck all in open play.

Think our answer needs to be to play higher. Stop them playing into midfield, cut off dangerous passes to Vardy. Easier said than done but we can do it.

Ait-Nouri has struggled at times but wouldn't be taking him off when we need a goal. Wouldn't surprise me to see Marcal like some have suggested though. Can see Traore introduced fairly soon too.

He’s gone....

Was it a pen? No. Would I have been pissed off if Wolves hadn't been given it? Yes.
We've been poor and, while Leicester haven't created much, we've created nothing. An xG of precisely 0.00
Raul looks like he's had about eight Sunday dinners before kick off. I'd hook him at HT, put Adama on and tell the front three to just run at their back line.
And, as everyone has said, way, way too slow

Movement ahead of the ball is atrocious. Semedo's been in open space a couple times but it takes about 3 hours to get the ball over there, or we just try to lump it over the top.

What we all said was great against Palace has disappeared again. Different oppo, different system, but same problems.

one shot at goal none on target. You wont lead at half time with that stat against anyone.

Roy Keane has to be contrary twat. Now saying he is using screen to confirm his decision. His decision was no penalty. He really is an ignorant fool.

See, I wouldn’t - it wasn’t handball other than if you are some officious plonker who has never played the game.

Completely agree
But a word of hope

Its 13 years since we won there and then they led and we uturned it around. Taylor will give us a penalty and Fuchs will make his customary howler. Have faith
