LEI v WOL
Referee: Andy Madley. Assistants: Simon Long, Richard West. Fourth official: David Coote. VAR: Chris Kavanagh. Assistant VAR: Nick Hopton
I’ll start “the referee’s a wanker” chant early before kick off.

Let's hope for more of the same from Leicester today, and no new manager bounce.

- No home PL clean sheet for 6 months
- Have conceded first in the last 10 home games.
- Lost 7 of last 9 PL home games
- Failed to score in 5 of those 9 games
- Scored more than 1 goal in only 2 of the last 9 home PL games

I really, really hope Lop doesn't change the formation to fit Neves, Gomes and Lemina all in.

This seems to somewhat contradict what was mentioned re Raul

Without wanting to criticise Raul Jimenez – the greatest striker this club has seen since the days of Steve Bull – there is a good reason he has not made the last two matchday squads.

Like Rayan Ait-Nouri, the Mexican is one of the squad’s more laid back individuals. There is no attitude problem, it is just that others are displaying greater intensity to their work right now.

They have gone VERY attacking. Three strikers on but no Maddison who is ill.

They are slitting their wrists about Soumare/Tielemans in midfield. Very slow and immobile apparently. Gomes should run all over them hopefully.

Just got to hope we defend and counter well as they'll be direct/long most of the game.

The right call from Lop, for me. Hopefully it comes off

I imagine Leicester will be quite direct/long with that lineup. We'll have to defend and counter well but should win the central midfield battle. Wouldn't surprise me to see us have more possession.

I just hope it isn't another one of those games where Tielemans shuts his eyes and lashes one in from 50 yards, or Leicester score with every shot like game at Molineux.

Big call on Neves, but you can see why he's made the decision. We'll see if it was the correct one by 5pm I suppose.

Right decision to keep the same side for me. Neves on when Gomes tires to see us home.

Ref immediately gives nothing for bundling over from behind for us, but whistles for a similar foul for Leicester...
