Keir Starmer at it again..

Why? No disputing their right to be there but contrary to what was posted on here earlier a very high percentage of every vote they get is to the dertiment of Labour and therefore by default will contribute towards a Reform Government. If we had PR, I agree it's a good thing, in FPTP when they aren't going to win then it's not in my view.
Labour have had their chances. They're going to get obliterated at the next election. Greens are on an upward trajectory, Labour the opposite. There's literally no reason for Labour to exist as things stand.

No idea why anyone ever says the left and right meet eventually 🤨

It's the same people who were so very fucking thankful that Kamala Harris didn't win.

I guess people being executed in the street is the price we pay for...I dunno.

I mean come on. This “non right wing” outcome is about to lead to an even bigger right wing government than we’ve probably ever experienced.

I guess that will be the left’s fault too.

Starmer has been terrible, what are we on 14 u turns in 18 months? He's awful at damage control and also getting his message across where there are positives on the economy, health and immigration. All that said I think Reform's victory at the next election has been an inevitability since Trump got elected, just as Brexit was the first time. Social media has a lot to answer for

The Labour right are totally blameless. We all just need to vote for Labour forever.

They're fucking light years away from the left and not even close to centre.

Happy Straya Day btw.
Doesn't it depend on where the centre now is? I'd say they aren't centre left any more they are just centre. Go back 15 years and Charles Kennedy's Lib Dems were left of this Government

Or does it depend on where an individual sets their own political barometer? Labour IMO are right of centre.

It will be on Labour if Reform get in.
So in order to win, Labour need to adopt an electoral position that has failed every time?

In modern history Labour has gone very left on three occasions. 1983, 2015 and 2017.

Three times, three defeats, two of them by a landslide.

Fourth time lucky, though, right?
