Keir Starmer at it again..

Labour are so, so, so shit at this.

Not only immigration, but they should be shouting from the rooftops about waiting lists falling too, but they don't...it's like they are scared too.

Pathetic.

All they know how to do is agree with right wing opinions. Never left one's of course.

Some good news for once.

Waiting lists falling
Ambulance waiting times falling
Immigration falling
Inflation falling
Real terms wages rising
Worklessness falling

(Depends how you feel about immigration obviously)

Yeah, but apart from that, what have Labour ever done for us?

Pedant alert

Inflation is rising slower rather than falling

Price levels are rising slower rather than falling.

Inflation is indeed falling, 3.6% to 3.2% last figures, I believe. We have disinflation, rather than deflation.

If there were an election tomorrow! Of course, there is some time left for things to change. They might even improve. Unlikely I know, but it is the hope that kills you.

Reform are going to absolutely clean up in May. Only hope is in that the years that follow they cause enough damage to lose credibility, but I suspect it's more likely that their voters buy the narrative that they're hamstrung by the Labour government, nothing is Reform's fault, and they still end up the largest party next time round

Things won’t improve for Labour until they grow some balls. An occasional U-turn is acceptable for any Government but it’s become the norm. Winter fuel payments, income tax through the back door, farmers inheritance tax, welfare cuts and now digital identity. Such dithering completely overshadows the good work they are doing. It stems from a lack of political nous at the top, Starmer has no political instincts. After the Tories 14 years anyone “safe” could have lead Labour to victory and Starmer is exactly that. Sadly he lacks charisma to engage people and get the message over about the good stuff and has passed the tipping point with too many of the electorate. I suspect he’d already have been ousted but for the May elections, only a fool would want the incoming massacre on their watch. The parallels with Wolves are stark, both Labour and Wolves are waiting until May to decide who will lead them going forward, and Edwards probably has a better chance of being in charge come August than Starmer.

November saw the second biggest drop in the waiting list for 15 years outside of the early days of the pandemic, as new data today shows staff faced record demand in 2025.

The waiting list fell by more than 86,000 in November to 7.31 million – and the milestone comes a year since the publication of the Elective Reform Plan.

The progress came despite the NHS’s busiest ever year, with 27.8 million A&E attendances in 2025 – up by over 367,000 on 2024, with 2.33 million attendances in December alone.
