Jeremy Corbyn

I think all those people who use social media to call for Muslims to go back home islamaphobic. I think those who link Hitler with The Jewish people trying to find safe haven after centuries of persecution anti-semetic. I think those who use negative stereotypes about Jewish people as "secretly in power and influence as anti-semetic and I think those that stereotype Islam as a religion of hate as islamaphobes.

I think people who criticise Iraeli government policy against Palastinans are right. I think people who criticise those who commit acts of terror in the name of Islam are right.

It really isn't that hard to seperate genuine criticism from prejudice yet so many seem to find that difficult.

Do you think the Israeli state has acted racist towards the Palestinian people?

And Gerry Adams, another of Corbyns good friends, has had to apologise for using the "n" word. Mr Corbyn certainly has some wonderful people as friends.

FFS. This thread is more childish than the 'fnarr' thread at times.

Do you remember when John Major sucked up to Sinn Fein? Disgusting.

And when Thatcher sucked up to Pinochet? Outrageous.

Seriously? Didn't HRH shake hands with the IRA? Which century do you live in?

Everyone is entitled to an opinion and there will be a party on here when you have one of your own. Another thread where your contribution has failed to rise above being a WUM.

Are you seabass?

I think Frank is entitled to point out the hypocracy of the left. Don't think it comes over well for the left on here, when their only defense, is to use the WUM, or the insults about racism, in the hope that it will deflect about the serious problems that the Labour party are having at the moment.

Yes. If racism is defined as less favourable treatment.

Or forced repatriation and the denial of Palestinians to return to their homeland and at the same time, the Israeli governent giving a right of return to Israeli Jews, who's only condition, is that they are Jewish? I seriously can't think of a more clear form of abhorrent racism.

"The left"? That is a fairly significant group of people you and Frank are lumping in together. As you are putting me in that group might I point out the contributions on here I have made and ask you to point out my hypocrisy. Can you point out where my contributions have deflected problems for the Labour Party? Frank's pointless contributions are the only deflection - deflections from a discussion about anti-semitism so he can make cheap political points that are nothing more than copy and paste from other sources.

The Labour Party elected a leader who said he considered terrorists such as Hamas as friends. And now we have the racism problems within the party. Decent Labour supporters, of which there are many, must be aghast at what Corbyns election as leader has brought to their party.

You see, that's the trouble with believing all you read in the papers Frank. The actual story is...

"Jeremy Corbyn to speak alongside Hamas advocates"

"Corbyn, along with a number of South American ambassadors, politicians and officials, will speak on the subject: “Palestine and Latin America: Building Solidarity for National Rights”. Along with Andrew Murray, from the trade union group UNITE, and Philipa Harvey, President of the National Union of Teachers, Corbyn will share the stage with two prominent Hamas voices, Azzam Tamimi and Mohsen Saleh, as well as the notorious anti-Jewish cartoonist, Carlos Latuff"

"Azzam Tamimi is reported to be Hamas’ “special envoy” to the UK. Tamimi claims that he has the “great honour to be close to Hamas” and that “all the leaders of Hamas are my friends”.

So the "all Hamas are my friends" quote was by some bloke called Azzam Tammi, not Corbyn...

Sadly, on issues like this, all Frank will read is this from your quote

"Jeremy Corbyn claims that he has the “great honour to be close to Hamas” and that “all the leaders of Hamas are my friends”.

I was refering to the hypocracy of the political left, not you. I haven't seen any hypocracy in your posts. I don't agree with some things you post about politics, but I respect your point of view.

Most people on here copy and paste from other sources. TSB has done so himself. I have my views, and I am entitled to them, though I have said previously that I probably shouldn't bother commenting on political threads on a forum dominated by left wing views.

I'm not on the left Frank (according to some I'm practically the son of Thatcher!)

The problem is not the left or the right it is centred on freedom of speech and a failure to differentiate between Judaism and Zionism. Any dissent towards the state of Israel/Zionism is pounced upon as Anti-Semitic. Aggression, Racism and supremacism should be countered always. Blair is a Zionist and his job is to deflect attention. Corbyn quite openly and justifiably will side with the downtrodden (those who receive the aggression).

Most people copy and paste to add to their opinion or to the debate - you just make shallow point scoring posts typical of the wum behaviour I accused you of.

You are quite entitled to your opinion but there should at least be an expectation that you use it in a constructive way. I don't want you to agree with me, that would be unrealistic, but you don't even try to engage in any meaningful debate.

He made a good point though. They are blaming the Blairites. I see a split party and while I am not fully convinced by Corbyn he is realistic leader, what I consider to be a humanitarian and it actually actually detracts from what he represents and why he was voted as leader. Good, valid, democratic discussion that has been derailed by the Blairites and the media. The rank and file need to support the man.

So you think anti-Semetic posts are being used to 'derail' democratic discussion by others?
