0.3% of the party or 1/3 if you believe the papers. How many of them are there and who are they?
Do you not think its a lot more than the one figure and a lot less than the other, I know it doesn't fit your agenda for it to be more than 0.3%, but surely there wouldn't be this much furore over such a negligible number of incidents ?0.3% of the party or 1/3 if you believe the papers.
I wonder what percentage of the Tory Party are racist/anti-semitic/anti-Islamic? Guarantee it's a lot higher than either 0.3% or even 1/3. Wonder why this is never an issue raised in the media?0.3% of the party or 1/3 if you believe the papers.
That's sort of my point. The British public think about 30% of benefits are fraudulently claimed. The real figure is less than 1%.Do you not think its a lot more than the one figure and a lot less than the other, I know it doesn't fit your agenda for it to be more than 0.3%, but surely there wouldn't be this much furore over such a negligible number of incidents ?
Even if you doubled that though you're some way off public perception!I was kind of semi agreeing with you (first time in 10 years ) I tend to think all real figures fall somewhere between the extremes quoted, always dependant on what argument you're trying to prove, for example you cannot quote 'real figures' for benefit fraud unless you have a significant section of benefit claimants admit to it, which I doubt they would ?
Was saying this to a friend last night, that Corbyn has become a victim of spin from not just the Tories but his own parties too.Do you not think its a lot more than the one figure and a lot less than the other, I know it doesn't fit your agenda for it to be more than 0.3%, but surely there wouldn't be this much furore over such a negligible number of incidents ?
It's clearly over estimated as the public perception is completely divorced from the reality. The EHRC report was based on 2 actionable cases. Two too many for sure, but two.I was going to say do you also think the problem is under estimated as the people who downplay it seem to be the Corbyn faithful, every now and again when someone posts on the JC Facebook page the following pitchfork mob is astounding, I used to smirk at the 'cult of Corbyn' tag, but it is true, the bloke is a 'rock star' of politics, he seems to have a lot of middle aged women fans (?) and the mantra of 'the best prime minister we never had'
Totally.I wonder what percentage of the Tory Party are racist/anti-semitic/anti-Islamic? Guarantee it's a lot higher than either 0.3% or even 1/3. Wonder why this is never an issue raised
If it isn't how do you know about it ??I wonder what percentage of the Tory Party are racist/anti-semitic/anti-Islamic? Guarantee it's a lot higher than either 0.3% or even 1/3. Wonder why this is never an issue raised in the media?
Are you trying to pretend that Tories, notoriously right wing, aren't racist? It isn't being made into an issue by the right wing controlled media, that doesn't mean it isn't happening nor reported by other media sources. If it isn't how do you know about it ??
I'm not sure you understand the difference between anti-semitism and being anti the Israeli state. They are not the same. Calling the Israeli state oppressive and brutal is not anti-semitic. Calling a Jewish businessman a greedy, hook-nosed thief is... Know the difference. Israel as a state is a vile, oppressive regime on a par with apartheid South Africa and deserves every criticism it gets.Amazing how someone who actively tweets anti-Semitic material and supports anti-semites is always the victim of unfortunate reporting. Odd.
No not in the slightest, but when discussing issues in the labour party someone always has to come up with the "Ah but the Tories" defence, because that makes it right, doesn't itAre you trying to pretend that Tories, notoriously right wing, aren't racist? It isn't being made into an issue by the right wing controlled media, that doesn't mean it isn't happening nor reported by other media sources.
You mean a greedy hook nosed thief as in this mural:I'm not sure you understand the difference between anti-semitism and being anti the Israeli state. They are not the same. Did you actually read that report fully? He condemns antisemitism, apologises for defending the artist on free speech grounds and left a pro Palestine group on the grounds of anti-semitic posts within the group. So yes, what a terrible, anti-semitic, racist he is. Hang the man...You mean a greedy hook nosed thief as in this mural:

I’ve been to Israel a good few times and Jordan and other counties in the region, this is no need to patronise me about the behaviour from Israel
