He is in the vulnerable group and should be shielded for 12 weeks. He sets a terrible example by being outside.

What he says in interviews is completley irrelvent to this point really (like he is now I guess).
A National event in place, would I expect the Prime Minister and the Leader of the Opposition to take part and also show their participation? Well yes, I would. Infact you could say Boris is more embarrasing as he is part of the party that has underfunded them and is now applauding their work, but that would be a cunts trick on this matter.
Whatever your thoughs on Jez and anyone else, to dive in at them because they did what was expected is a little fucking daft IMO. Can you image the headlines this morning if Jez had just tweeted "Did some clapping for the NHS"...the Mail would be jumping up and down screaming that he did NOTHING and his Tweet means nothing, he is a TRAITOR. I'm no fan of Jez but its all a bit fooking stupid is this.
Who cares what the Mail would do. My point still stands, his orchestrating gestures and God complex is mistimed, like his entire leadership tenure.
I mentioned his interview is it was yesterday as well. I'll be glad when he's confined to the political bin of history. Easily the worst political leader in my lifetime.
Nobody is knocking him clapping. And it's not the orchestrated nature of the filming. It's HIS orchestrating gestures like he is conducting the clapping that people are miffed about.
Like it's all about him, like he's in charge. That's not a good look from a failure.
You have different standards to me and to compare it to the most selfish man in politics I don't see Johnson doing this.
I guess we'll have to agree to disagree.
You still thinking he won the argument?
Absolutely amazing that people think Corbyn's ever been about himself over other people.
There's a reason that the people who know him - especially his constituents - love him. He's like the perfect model constituency MP, his record over decades in helping people (often in desperate circumstances) is incredible. It's arguably part of why he was so badly-suited for being leader of a political party - he can't help but treat the smallest and biggest issues as equally important.
(But yes, he claps like a weirdo.)
I see this argument a fair bit. I think we are a lot more likely to see a period of austerity on hyper drive once we are through this
