Is it 'Molineux', 'The Molineux', or 'Molineux Stadium /Grounds'?

Just wondered which people think is the correct terminology?

I've always insisted its just 'Molineux' but see so many reports its at 'The Molineux'. 'Molineux Grounds' (which I know was the original name), or 'Molineux Stadium' can be left to kroney council signwriters who don't know much.

I know there is no official answer, but just wondered what others thought about the correctness of this as the Wolves fanbase sees it? Personally, I hate it when people say its at 'The Molineux' but I don't really know why it bugs me. After all, most Wolverhampton / Black Country people will say 'The Wolves' not just 'Wolves'.

But surely its just 'Molineux'...............................

Molin-yerrr as the idiot who did our late 90s/early 00s DVD reviews had it.

One that did change quite seamlessly was the Steve Bull Stand. I don't think anyone even accidentally calls it the John Ireland now.

I remember looking across from the South bank at the 'New Stand' being built in Park Village, thinking "Its gonna cost a packet to move it across to the ground" :)-.

Does the pitch have a name?
