No-one is saying the laws were incorrectly applied.He can always choose to use his hands, but he's going to be penalised for it by whatever the punishment is for handling a back pass. In this case an indirect free kick and no card according to the rules.
I could maybe accept a yellow for deliberate handball. Which would have been funny as he'd have been sent off for coming out early on the free kick.
We're saying the laws are ridiculous in this instance as how is it different to what say, Suarez did vs Ghana in the 2010 World Cup. Except we get a far worse recompense than a penalty.
You seem to be saying the law shouldn't change which is crazy.
