Here's a thread where we can discuss Raul's injury and - hopefully - speedy recovery.

The official update for anyone who hasn't seen it yet. My heart goes out to him and his family, hoping he can make a full recovery.

“Raul is comfortable following an operation last night, which he underwent in a London hospital. He has since seen his partner Daniela and is now resting. He will remain under observation for a few days while he begins his recovery."

All the best for a speedy and comprehensive recovery, and to his family too.

Firstly he needs to get well for his family, that's all that matters at this stage, whatever happens football wise afterwards can wait, a young mans well being is far more precious.

Obviously I want to see him back in a Wolves shirt again this season but the important thing is that he makes a full recovery for the sake of himself and his family.

We don’t really know how serious this injury is or how he will recover so I just wish him all the best regardless of how this affects his football career.

Echo what others have said and I've said on other threads.

Football at the moment means nothing just praying that a young father that's given us all so much joy makes a speedy and more importantly full recovery for him and his family.

Thoughts going out to his family here and in Mexico who must be going through hell.

You've got this Raul........our number 9!

Hugely depressed about last night tbh. Yes I know we won away at Arsenal and that's an impressive result, I just can't help thinking about what is going through Raul and his families minds right now.

I can't get the look on Nuno's face out of my head either. First time I've ever seen him looking genuinely scared.

Such a lovely guy as well, I really hope it’s “just” a fractured skull and no brain impacts.

hope his family are coping ok and that he can go home soon.

They all looked terrified: Nuno, Traore, Coady. It was harrowing.

Exactly how I feel too.

Yeah I thought that.

One thing that understandably gone under the radar but how fucking well did Coady and Nuno handle their post match interviews.

How lucky are we to have a captain and manager that are not only top notch in a footballing sense but also as human beings, that represent this club in such a fantastic way.

One minute you are out playing for your Club and loving what you do, then in an instant it can all change. Wishing Raul a speedy recovery, his family and the Pack are right behind him all the way.

I bet the training ground is a bit eerie this morning too.

Yes: I think we will really struggle to keep hold of Coady in the summer if he performs as he did last night in a two. His stock is at an almighty high at the moment.

Last night was awful but I was so proud of how we reacted - my highlight was Coady going over to Silva after the first goal and cheering him on. Proper captain.

Coady absolutely loves this club. I don't think we need to be worried about him leaving - he's an essential member of the squad, the first name on the team sheet, club captain, a superb ambassador and an England international.

He's a perfect fit for the club so I'm not concerned about him leaving.

Agree not to take this thread off topic too much but also Coady doesn't strike me as the kind of person who'd sign a contract extension then engineer a move/even accept a move.

Coady's nearly as much of a part of this 'project' as Fosun and Nuno to be fair he's that invested in it.

Thoughts are with Raul and his family atm, hopefully no long term damage is done and he can live a healthy normal life. Won't speculate on his ability to play etc as we just don't know, rightly. We'll find out in due course.

That depends if Liverpool come calling, otherwise I agree.
