Totally agree - though, on this occasion, didn’t look too great when he was on that stretcher v Arsenal.

That’s the last time I ever watch without the crowd noise again - I can still hear that crack - it sounded like we’d hit the crossbar.

Mate, I've still got the Don Goodman noise in my head (we were more or less level with it, Billy Wright Lower) from 25 years ago. Horrible.

It's a shocking injury because of the trauma and the immediate impact but there's next to no evidence of players struggling once they recover. They either do or they don't, and nearly all the time they do.

That's why i mentioned it. I'm pretty certain he would be involved in the final training session of the week. Either he's injured, or he had a vindaloo on thursday night and was married to the shitter all day Friday..
