Was at the Spurs game when he went down. The way he reacted, it didn’t look like we’d see him again this season, so pleased he’s back training. Although he only lasted about 10 minutes, he looked quick and was massive. I hope he comes back strong and gets a few games before the end of the season.

I was surprised by how many of those young lads are on less than £10k a year! How does that work then? Obviously that’s not enough to live on, but I don’t think any of them have second jobs, so presumably the club subsidise them somehow?

From the big hitters, Kilman, Neto, Saiss & Sa are being underpaid. As EP has mentioned, I think Kilman got a new deal recently so he’ll probably be on about £40k a year now. You can see why the club want to bring in Hwang if he’s only on that as well.

Boly seems the obvious choice to bin off. Big wages and he never plays. Was surprised by Donk being on as much as he is, too.

I would have thought £200 per week 'pocket money' as such would be more than sufficient for a teenage youth team player when everything else they 'need' is paid for. I bet there's no one on this forum that has £200 a week to spend exactly how they want on nice leisure activities or clothes/entertainment.

I was hardly suggesting we take away their liberty. If £200, when all your expenses are paid, per week [as a teenager] is considered an insult in the US, I can assure you that it's not here. Perhaps Trump did a better job than we all thought from over here?

It's hardly a ten year contract either. Play a cup game and see it rise five fold, make your first PL start and triple that etc., etc.

Possibly but even then off that list he doesn't deserve to be near our top earner, he's nowhere near as good as Jonny is for example so his 100k a week demands make him look a bit daft.
