General Wolves News

It doesn't surprise me in the least if the premier big boys (or even small boys) are getting worried about Wolves' imminent arrival, for different reasons. The small boys realise that Wolves aren't going to be cannon fodder and relegation certainties next season, so that means one more of the existing bottom half of the table teams is under threat of relegation and the so-called big six just don't want some upstart interloper coming along and trying to muscle in on their private party. So yes, I expected the same reaction from the premier teams as we've had some championship teams this season, and for generally the same reason: jealousy.

What's the worst that can happen? Fosun are forced to sell their stake in Mendes's agency by new legislation? Won't stop us buying who we want, and it's hardly going to affect Fosun (or Mendes, I expect).

We've definitely hit the big time after Neves' goal. The Sun has a double page spread on us today assessing our squad's chances in the PL.

Exactly. If Fosun were forced to sell their stake in Gestifute, there's nothing to stop Georgy boy calling Nuno for a chat, and in the course of that chat telling him he has this guy at AC Milan or wherever who's sitting on the bench a lot of the time and wants regular football, especially in the prem, are you interested? Business as usual, as far as I'm concerned.

Im interested in Leicester and Bournemouths reaction.

Will they be last off the boat types who slam the door shut in another clubs face or put their hands up and say "fair play" certainly, they and even Man City complaining would be hollow to say the least.

Leave the Dew alone (unless it is that wanky energy drink they do, then that can fuck off and your point stands)

I like Mountain Dew Citrus. Sue me.

I only buy The Sun when I have my regular hospital appointment, purely for the puzzle pages.

Fairly clued up but seems to missed we have actually done the deal to sign Jota

Was never a case of Cav "not fancying it" last year (that's from the same hackneyed skip as Britney pulled "not a team player"). He had plenty to learn about the game in this country when he arrived but our record with and without him in 2016/17 speaks volumes.

Also players who don't fancy it don't make the kind of defensive contribution as he did vs Forest at home.

That really did my head in. Utter nonsense that he lacked the work ethic. Andy Thompson another promoting that drivel. Saiss another one that it was clear what he could bring to the team under some decent coaching

Do we have to wait until Sunderland to lift the title, or can we do it against Sheff Wednesday ?

If it's done by the time we play Sheff Wed (and it should be) we can have the trophy then.

I wonder if they've had enough notice to write a new flag ??
