1972 was the greatest year in history as I'm sure you will agree Paddy

It was for being born in it. I was VERY angry about Spurs as a foetus!

The point is more about the fact that football has moved on. We really need to embrace all this to get commercial income and sponsorship in because we have a ground with 32,000 seats, give or take. Ticket money isn't going to move us into the top echelon, income-wise, unless they start charging us a gold bar each to get in for each game. We simply must explore, exploit, and dominate the other revenue streams as well.

Whichever team are the first to find a decent player in China are going to be minted

Or India. 1 billion fans there too now. Neither looks likely yet, but in time it will happen.

Call me a miserable old twat but I'd prefer us to concentrate on the football tomorrow. Didn't have bloody masks and wrestlers and doctorates when I were a lad. 7th can make a huge difference to our club, so let's just focus. Especially wi' t'Toffees winning two nowt...

I am soooooooo with you. Stuff these fuckers off the park and put 7 the to bed ffs.

I agree with all that. As I said, I get it, it's the right thing to do, it's just lame and cringey

I'm not finding it cringey at all. I'm not multi lingual, but a quick look at Sin Cara's twitter as well as the wolves twitter is interesting. Sin Cara has tweeted more than once not only that he is excited about coming to the game, but has repeatedly mentioned a "thanks for the invitation". He's a very polite wrestler! But this is being repeatedly tweeted to hundreds of thousands of people, and it is 2 of the biggest sports stars of their country. Loads of people who had never really heard of us before have been given access to us.

I also really liked how much everyone in the squad is into handshakes!

ha ha ha i thought quite a few of the players were looking at him like they had just found an escaped nutter, as they shook hands.
I hope the club and the supporters have a fantastic day tomorrow, after this season they deserve it, oh and that we seriously slap Fulham as well.

The times has Norris in goal?

The reason VAR was invented,Jon Moss as ref for this ffs! That should be interesting! That's a guaranteed dodgy penalty or a not given stonewall then if he is true to form.

Nuno said he would look to give Norris some minutes but i doubt he will until 7th is cemented. The only chance is at Anfield if the title is also done.

Leaving in a minute, quick Subway then we’ll be in the London. Buzzing for today.

Chaos getting up from London today with Euston shut for HS2 engineering works. Added over an hour onto the journey, travelling via God knows where on the Chiltern line. Was quite a sight seeing Banbury station of all places covered in old gold and black shirts.

Meanwhile, the sun has come out just as my train is leaving Smethwick. Out of darkness cometh light.

Kilman and Norris on the bench

Masks all over the shop.

Just think someone has to make way for Norris and Kilman and that's Ruddy obviously, and Saiss. Don't see that it de facto means Ruddy is off

Fulham fans appear to have come in one mini bus. Embarrassing club, better off in league 1.

4 minutes in and I’m already raging with Jon Moss. What a fucking appalling referee.
