Reckon this game will give it a run for it's money

Id be surprised if we got more than 6k for that game especially if we're at home first game.

:argh:
They should play them mid July and that might get a few more in............. its fucking boring as boring can possibly be without the football so a game mid way through NO GAMES would be good....... don't mind a bit of athletics to fill some of the time in

I remember Wolves playing Newport County in the 85-86 season. It was our first home game and Newport won 2- 1. I am sure that Mark Kendall was in goal for Newport on that day.

In the league cup an away game against one of sides in and around the Greater Manchester area would be just fine. I have relatives who live in Ancoats Lane in Manchester, so could kill two birds with one stone.

It's Bury at home, Frank, so does that mean your relatives will be visiting you?

I forget how excited I get about this  London away games in the first couple of month please...

Blackburn away it is then

Hull & QPR our first home games. Followed by Cardiff away

seems like we will need to hit the ground running this season.

Blackburn away again FFS and 3 away trips over the festive period.

seems like we will need to hit the ground running this season.

Three of the first four games last season were against relegated Premier League sides, similar was being said then, we won all three.

Good thing is we don't meet any of the promoted sides early on can always be tricky games if there on s role.

Same as last year in that we're played the 3 relegated teams in the first 4 matches (only two this year). Did alright against 'em though. Works out well to play them early as they might not have adjusted and reacclimatised to the Championship "style".
