It takes a while to get into it to be honest, when I started playing again last year I didn't win an online game in about two months. I can hold my own now but I'm still not brilliant. You don't need to skill to win, just learn when to hold the ball and learn where your runners will be. I tend to play it back a lot of the time if you're crowded out as it can draw them out and open up spaces, through balls work very well this year. And finesse shots are the meta this year as well, low drivens get saved or go wide. When you're defending use jockey as much as possible and don't keep pressing tackle, you'll win the ball back more if you do that and learn to only tackle at the right moment.

I'll keep persevering cause I'm a sucker for punishment. Currently on a brilliant 6-1-14 streak, 5 of my 6 wins being against AI.

Just seem to struggle to defend. I try and not pull anyone out yet there's copious amounts of space for them still. Baffling.

Although my team is extremely shit so could also be partly down to that. Gonna try and do some SBC's for packs/coins seeing as I cant trade for shit and I think the BPM won't be very effective at this stage in the game.

BPM is still working a treat. It’s not just selling cards, you get cards for league SBCs and can upgrade the useless ones into silvers for league SBCs. BPM really is the shit.

I’m not that impressed with him yet to be honest, Camilo from the Liga MX SBC is just as good. Mind you I’m trying to use him like Raul and that’s not going to happen.

still happy I didn't bounce. nice not getting sucked into weeklies and using the best teams I've ever had.
