FC Pyunik (H) Buildup Thread

Sorry I can't be there. Back home but absolutely no chance I can get up there. Can't even get a boot on. Hoping the swelling goes down over the next few days so I am able to make work on Monday and the United game.

I will leave one behind the bar for you for when you're better.

Pleasantly surprised to see that but also surprised to see Moutinho start.

No Jordao, not even on the bench. Hmmm.....

If he wasn't playing, I wouldn't have expected him on the bench either- that's where we're keeping the first team in case things start to look like they might be going tits-up...

It would be a supreme effort to make it go tits up from here, to be brutally honest.

Very pleased with that - but yes, surprised to see Mout start. Going to have a quid on Vinagre to be first goalscorer

Constantly amazed with the Duracell bunny that is Moutinho. He seems ageless and never out of energy.

Also, it's not ideal for Cutrone to start with another new signing, and a kid at a that. I was hoping for him to get some time alongside Jota.

I think this is where we find out whether Neto is a gem or a Mendes "favour".

Against these he should look good. I would expect both Neto and Cutrone to get on the score sheet.

Then again it's his first game for a brand new club. We should reign in expectation just a little.

Dodgy start for Maximillian.

Understandably disjointed performance so far but more promising in the last few minutes

I'm liking the look of both Cutrone and Neto. Vallejo looks promising too.

MGW however is becoming increasing difficult to get excited about. He often looks really lax. His decision making and passing has been very poor, and not just tonight, for a while now. He really, really needs regular football somewhere to help him develop.

But if Neto is the bollocks then we can allow MGW to quietly develop. It's not the end of the world.

going by what i am hearing from the live comms, Neto sounds a great find.

It's only a debut but Neto looks to have something about him. As usual with someone his age, the final pass/shot needs to improve.

Then again we though Joao Texeira was a gem too, so early days.
