I have done it before but I will openly admit that I am an absolute airhead with things like this.

I always thought clubs collected players passports in before they even went to the airports. Bet they will going forwards!

Speaking as someone who - in the days when I was a dull bastard in a suit - went away for meetings without a belt, then without a tie and once left his trousers in a hotel (just off the A1 - I wave to them as I go past) have to say that I have some sympathy for Adama here.
And I think a diplomatic 'knock' would have been a better reason, rather than Spiers joyously tweeting it to all and sundry

It originally sounded more like he didn't know he needed it. But now Tim is saying he couldn't find it. He wouldn't have needed it for Crusaders of course (although airports can be weird - I was asked for a passport when flying from Brum to Edinburgh once).

Yep, on second thoughts you're probably right. I'd always assumed that the club would hold all the passports and send someone scurrying ahead with them.

Nash tweeted about that last night and how that used to be way but with players from all over the world and they jet off all the time they no longer do that and trust the players not to have brain farts when they need to travel
