FC Pyunik (A, Europa League) 8/8/19 Build-Up and Match Thread

Vinagre looked great so far. People moan about squad depth but him as out back up/change of style lwb shows we do have a good squad already. Just small.

Tidy strong physically, they look alright and up for it

Might just be me, but Doc doesn't look fit

He will play about sixty I think. Maybe even only the half then Jonny will come in on the right

Hoping we have sold Traore but even I would give him the benefit of the doubt, if he had just returned from injury.
Uhuh, similar to the benefit of the doubt you'd give a player playing their 4th ever game at RWB.

Vinagre has got in good forward positions but gave the ball away far too easily several times trying too much.

Looks like Traore has been left at home because he's starting on Sunday

Being new at the position doesn't account for his complete lack of control, composure or technical ability to strike a ball though.

He’s been sloppy with his use of the ball I agree

Was just about to write pretty much this. He needs to stop trying so hard to be clever.

That is kind of what you get with him though as when it comes off for him it creates an opportunity or opening

Saiss looks sharp.

I'd like to see him play further forward when Wolves are in possession, lining up like a back four at times, but it's not something that's unique to him as I generally have the same complaint of Neves in similar situations.

It’s a tactic rather than an individual issue for sure. But I do think we could push that player further forward, especially in games where we are dominating the ball. In the early stages of this game I have less complaints

Doc scores and looks like he's hurt himself
