Cunts, the lot of them.
that is one of the most cuntish things i have ever seen. an impressively high bar.
2 years ago we were saying exactly the same about going from the Tories to Reform, now a shift further right. Will there be another in another couple of years?I like to think I can at least understand where people are coming from, even if I vehemently disagree with anything they do, say or think.
But who the fuck thinks "yeah, I quite like Nigel Farage, but he's a bit mainstream and not quite racist enough for me. Tell you who my boy is, the racist ex-chairman of Southampton Football Club".
I guess I just don't know what's moved the dial.2 years ago we were saying exactly the same about going from the Tories to Reform, now a shift further right. Will there be another in another couple of years?
My personal view is the opinions of the individuals haven't changed, but as one view becomes seen as acceptable to air publicly it opens the door to the next becoming so. People have been talking about bursting dinghies in their groups in pubs since migrant crossings became a hot topic, Leeds' image is just the public face of that. Ratcliffe's comments in the week were just a more flowery version of 'send them back home'.I guess I just don't know what's moved the dial.
With the Tories it was easy to see. 1) Absolutely joke leadership from 2015 to the current day, all absolutely dreadful in their own individual ways and 2) If you're of the mindset that Brexit was a good idea but done wrong, then a) you're a moron but b) well it has to be the Tories that carry that can, by default.
With Farage? If you backed him a few months or a year ago then what has changed? He's the same dogwhistling, facile, 80s Tory cunt that he always has been.
