Someone isn’t telling the truth…

At Kent county council, Paul Chamberlain, one of the Reform UK cabinet members in charge of Doge cuts, said councillors had not found any significant waste to cut.

Chamberlain told the FT: “We made some assumptions that we would come in here and find some of the craziness that [Musk’s] Doge found in America … and that was wrong, we didn’t find any of that.”

Farage today bless him.

When it is put to him that Kent county council has not save much money throught its Reform-led Doge unit, Farageclaims that is “cobblers”. He says Kent has saved over £100m already, and will save several hundred million more.

In the meantime all of the Reform councillors elected on the basis that Council Tax wouldn’t go up are having to put council taxes up.

Flags down a high street put up by the shops to be welcoming is one thing.

Flags put up unlawfully on lampposts solely to threaten and make people feel uncomfortable is quite another.

As a Welshman living in England, they make me uncomfortable, so I dread to think how it makes other people feel.

I've felt less uncomfortable in parts of Belfast or Derry where there are flags everywhere - Free Derry Corner and the Bogside is the only place that's come close.
 
There are 8 Union flags on lamposts along a street of council houses and 6 of them are the wrong way up. Fucking idiots without a clue

The miner roundabout in Brownhills is truly something to behold, or at least was a few months ago, not been past since.
 
Pretty much all the flags that are still up around here (Worcester) now look fucked, if they're still attached, then one of the clips has gone so they're just draped in on themselves and/or they are battered by the wind.

Patriotic? They look post apocalyptic.

same as brum. in addition these raise the colours wankers are buying cheap shit flags, and loads of them are ripped, frayed and so on. They're now in such a state they're disrespectful.
There is/was a councillor in another area who is a veteran, whoi has campaigned for his authority to remove the flags owing to the state of them.

It is still an unhinged shambles. There must be 200 flags in the actual roundabout and then they're plastered all over the fences, it's absolutely embarrassing
