Farage Ltd and Similar Watch

I’m not talking about that, talking about the classmate claims and taking it as gospel that it’s purely truthful.
To add Farage is to far right for my liking however trying to dig out a bit of disgrace from something that happened around 1976/77 is very thin and very sanctimonious.
As said it’s impossible to prove it was said.
Firstly why now has this person spoken out, Farage has been on the circuit for many years, why not much earlier?
Secondly if he did say it yep it’s wrong definitely that’s undeniable however judging a 13 year old growing up in 1976 by adult 2025 morals again needs context.
Thirdly think back to when you were 13 did you and your friends do and say things g the at you are now a bit embarrassed about or things you regret.
The fourth matter is if you want hold him to account you have to do it as a juvenile and not hold him to the same standards as if he said it over the age of 18.
I’m not defending Farage and his policy but I like things to have balance and not people be judged from a very high ivory tower.

It's ok as he never "directly" racially abused anybody.

As said let’s remind everyone what they said and did when they were 13 and hold them to adult morals of that in 2025.
Are we seriously suggesting that Farage is the only politician who has said something bad or abhorrent when they were 13?

I said stuff I'm really not proud of when I was that age. Id hate it if I were judged on that now

This is the point I’m making if we’re using this as stick to bring down a politician every politician needs to be extremely worried that their behaviour aged 13 doesn’t get bought up or even falsely claimed. There’s stuff to be outraged about this is just going to far.

I'm sorry, but he was over the criminal age of responsibility when he acted like a racist cunt, and he still acts like one now.

Well his criminality needs proving beyond reasonable doubt first which you obviously know. Again if everybody’s 13 year old behaviour was bought to judgement now and they were made to pay the full consequences I’m sure a lot of people would find their lives turned upside down.
What criminal offence would he be charged with?

My point is that in the eyes of the law he is old enough to be responsible so the "13 year old self" argument doesnt work.

That doesnt stop the whole thing being hearsay though, but much journalism is

But adults and juveniles aren’t tried in the same way are they? Secondly had he been found guilty of something in 1976 then it would be classed as a minor offence and would’ve been well spent 6-10 years after reaching 17. Are we seriously suggesting that the mind of a 13 year old is as experienced of that of say a 30 year old?

No-one is saying he should be locked up (not for this anyway).

Just that he's probably a racist and always has been.

Yep and it’s not like there’s enough ammunition from his political career to hit him with either so digging up this and making it a big story as I’ve said seems a bit thin. Trust me he’ll say or do something in the near future that he can be targeted for this one just feels a bit desperate.

Public perception tends to weigh the individual's current character and response more heavily than the isolated historical comment, particularly if there is evidence of genuine remorse and personal development...

Hilarious.

Who is saying he has to "pay the full consequences?"

He is the likely next Prime Minister, as a result all of his skeletons are being dug up.
