Ex-Wolf Watch

Mrs Lupo works in the Post Office in Bridgnorth. She regularly serves a nice old chap on 2 sticks. She had no idea who he was until a while back when an Albion supporting mate of mine told her.

She served him today and took the opportunity. She said "good win last night!". The old chap smiled and agreed that it was. Then he said, not realising that she knew, "I used to play for the Wolves you know". Mrs Lupo said her partner is a Wolves STH. The man smiled and said "mention my name to him, its Ted Farmer"!

My mate who is mid 80s and went home and away late 50s-mid 60s was/is a big fan of Ted Farmer. He loves a Wolves fact from that era, I'll ask him tonight down the pub if he knows he lives in Bridgenorth.

Real James Dean vibes honestly 💘

I read his book a few years ago. The heartbreak game I think it was called.

Farmer has the achievement of having scored his 21st goal on his 21st appearance on his 21st birthday on 21 January 1961.

Love facts like this.
