Ex-Wolf Watch

2nd half and straight away concede for 3-1

Shite defending

3-1 to them. This must be a bit embarrassing for our 'legends' :ROFLMAO:

So FT 5-2 BUT its America so now something extra has to happen

Winner is first to 6!.

Every 5 mins a team will lose a player until there is just 1 player (no keeper) left on the pitch. (Not sure if that is 5 mins without a goal or just every 5 mins that passes until someone has scored 6)

1-0 down within 5 minutes...

Is Alan in the crowd?
They've had a mare by scheduling it in the middle of the week tbh.

Wanted to go but can't justify the expense or time off with my employer currently swinging the layoff axe around.

I just looked at the competitions Twitter feed and had no clue what was happening. Your explanation has made it no clearer :ROFLMAO:

So they play for 40 mins.

The game then goes into Target goal time!
Target goal is the current leaders total plus 1 ( so 6 for our game)
They now play until someone scores 6 goals.
To help get there they start to withdraw players every 5 mins (or every 5 mins when a goal hasn't been scored...this bit I am not clear on). So eventually it can get to a 1 v 1 game (from a 7 v 7 starting point)

I take it the feed is miles behind as they tweeted the final score ages ago.

Ok, makes sense now thanks. I couldn't work out if 'target goal time' was some awful American term or not.

Is it being played in a junior school?
Have you seen the size of the penalty area / goal area?
Tiny!!
😂

North Carolina FC (USL1, basically our 3rd tier) and North Carolina Courage (NWSL, women's Premiership) play there and draw pretty decent crowds fwiw. They can slap down a regulation sized pitch when they need to!

Saw a bit of it. Couldn't help but think they needed a ringer, like you'd get occasionally down 5 a side, some guy scores 20
