Ex-Wolf Watch

Bearing in mind what happened at Newcastle between them, it would be interesting to hear what Romain Saiss might have to say about the racist, Shelvey being in Dubai. The outcome of their disagreement was reported in The Guardian as follows in late 2016:

'The Newcastle United midfielder Jonjo Shelvey was accused of referring to his Wolves counterpart Romain Saiss as an “Arab cunt”, the Football Association has revealed.

Shelvey was banned this week for five games, fined £100,000 and ordered to attend a mandatory education course after an FA misconduct charge, which the England international denied, was found proven by an independent regulatory commission.'

He apparently isn't in Dubai for the money and he doesn't want to bring up his kids in England.

What a lowlife. Shelvey not Saiss! ;-)

Our friend Gary Gary on MNF.

I've been in the pub and had it on mute so my annoyance has been that he's got his shirt buttoned right up to the top again. Who dresses like that FFS.

He was explaining about when we signed Andre, great guy, but basically couldn't work out how to accommodate him without changing system or dropping Lemina or Joao Gomes

He’s got all the presence of a West Ham home crowd.

Oh look, there he is again, near the scorer but doing nothing.

Atrocious player

Carra properly digging him out. Rightly so

'Good on the ball' they often said.

I do not call walking 10 yards with the ball at 1mph, waiting until everyone is marked, rolling it under your foot for three seconds then playing a slow, underhit 3 yard pass 'good on the ball'.

Mighty Max manages to run away from the ball, away from any Brentford players and then flinches out of the way for the second goal.

What a leader.

The fucking nerve of O'Neil talking about how much work he'll put into defending set pieces next time he gets a job. After last season's 'leave someone totally unmarked at the back post every game' masterclass

He's learning from his mistakes!

I think thats what he's getting at tbf. We were conceding from them every week tbf and thats what contributed to his demise. Too much of a 'snob' to work on them at the time.

I love how they've basically made this into a GON shop window opportunity and theyre not even trying to hide it.

It didn't need that much work!

"Mark the massive guy at the back" would have been a start, how the fuck were we getting that so wrong? It was the likes of Chris Wood and Tomas Soucek we were leaving in five yards of space. Just common sense says "watch that fella", you don't need to be Arrigo Sacchi.
