Ex-Wolf Watch

Cav part of a bomb squad at Fulham :(

He probably isn't quite a Premier League player but I'd still 100% take him over Hwang or Trincao. Probably got more actual end product than Podence too although he isn't as good a footballer.

Yeah, loved Cav. Bit unlucky with the change of shape mid-way through 18/19 as he'd not been too bad first half of the season when he played. Had certainly performed better than Helder had.

I really liked Cav. Had a handy knack of sitting defenders on their arse was a really tidy finisher to boot.

Yep, probably said this before but I genuinely wanted to name our youngest (born Dec 2017) Ivan as he was playing brilliantly. Wife wasn’t having any of it.

Agreed. I remember being absolutely sure he would score when he was through on goal on that freezing day against Bournemouth for example. I haven’t had that sensation in a while. Though I bet someone will point out he missed plenty and my confidence on that occasion was misplaced / luckily fulfilled.

I still disagree with selling Cav, full stop.

His goal at Reading is one of my favourite ever wolves goals!
The fucking audacity of the way he rolls the keeper. So casual.

Nah, he was quality one on one. Would back him pretty much every time.

Southampton at home when he scored with his first touch

I don't remember many. The one in the fa cup semi final where he got it caught under his feet is the only one that sticks out.

Was there one he smashed against the bar. West Ham home?

The semi final one doesn’t count as I’ve successfully purged my memory of everything that happened that day.

Stearman re signed for Derby. Kev McDonald on trial there

Thought he had gone to Sunderland? Did that fall through?
