Is Bueno injured? I think I’ve missed an update here. GON rightfully gets plaudits for bringing RAN in from the cold. I think they’d more than be outweighed by criticism if he does the reverse to Bueno, that’s once you’ve factored into the equation who he’s favoured over him. Bit of a different story if he’s had no other option (though even then others have pointed out there’s a way of rejigging it).

Bueno was back in training after missing the first leg of the club's FA Cup clash against Brentford on Jan. 5 due to a calf injury, according to manager Gary O'Neil. "Hugo Bueno trained a couple of times, maybe three times after his calf tightened up. He'll be in the squad definitely. He's obviously very important for us anyway, but especially with Rayan being away. Hugo's fitness, getting him back up to speed is very important. He'll be an important part of what we're trying to do during the second half of the season, so we need him fit.

Yeah kinda forgot about Bueno being fit tbf, you’d think all logic would mean if he’s fit he plays ahead of Doherty!

GO seems to go cautious on returns from injury. I would have had Neto starting weeks ago but he only did last night. If the feeling is Hugo is fine for a sub appearance if needed then you have to trust him and his medical team.

I don't have a problem with that. The alternative is Lage pushing Neto back on the pitch twice when he was obviously injured at West Ham, or Bakary "he's got all summer to get over it" Sako, or Hoddle refusing to sub Gyepes with an exploded knee.

I didn't want to go hunting for some of the accents in the country name so just went with the abbreviation, apologies for being vague. :)
