He was, although they went 433. Last season just gets wiped for me on every level. It didn't happen
I think the way he utilised Abraham that day was actually. Made him play an old fashioned 9 role to bully Coady which isn't something he'd been effective at before or since. He'd also not played a back 3 before then which took us by surpriseDon’t remember it being a tactical masterclass. Just terrible goalkeeping and defending.
I’d start Neto, hopefully he can give Coleman a tough time who seems to have lost his pace. Rest of the defence isn’t much better, shit RB at LB and the CBs are mistake prone.
Agree, although Abraham had Coady on toast, the game could have finished 5-7 as I recall we missed at least two good chances that dayDon’t remember it being a tactical masterclass. Just terrible goalkeeping and defending.

Predictable I know, providing Boly is OK, let Kilman have a rest.
It's only one change, Neto is a far better player than Hwang, needs minutes to get his match fitness, Everton will be better than Watford. Think the days when you never change a winning side are long gone. Need a good fast, positive start.Change a team that's just won 4-0? If they're all fit I'd be keeping the same.
As much as Neto is a much better player, the front three on Thursday dovetailed effectively
I'd rather have Neto to come off the bench with 30 to go regardless of the scoreline at the time, if you are losing AND have to take Neto off, it's far from ideal from a confidence perspective and we managed a good, fast, positive start on Thursday without Neto, so why not again,It's only one change, Neto is a far better player than Hwang, needs minutes to get his match fitness, Everton will be better than Watford. This is fair enough and I suspect what Bruno will do, personally I'd prefer Pedro on from the start, so we dictate pace and the intent from the off.I'd rather have Neto to come off the bench with 30 to go regardless of the scoreline at the time, if you are losing AND have to take Neto off, it's far from ideal from a confidence perspective.
I would have thought the normal order of things, 1-0 could only mean one way ??Tbf if you are predicting our game your starting point is 1-0, just need to decide which way
Good pedantry!I would have thought the normal order of things, 1-0 could only mean one way ??
It's not just Lawro - the exchanges have Everton as clear favourites for this one.Lawros predicted us to lose 1-0, now I'm no football statistician or go as deeply into the analytical aspect as some on here but based on what, them being at home ??
Why thank you my dearGood pedantry!
Seems odd to me. They've only beaten Leeds at home in their last 5 games. Lost all the others. It's not just Lawro - the exchanges have Everton as clear favourites for this one.
Pretty much. For what it's worth, they also had Leeds over Villa a few days ago.Seems odd to me. They've only beaten Leeds at home in their last 5 games. Lost all the others.
