Everton 2nd February

Everton fans leaving in droves - there won't be any of them in the ground by the time this finishes!

Decisive win - well deserved

We were the better side for 90 mins (I'll give them the other 7, but most of that was by their cat)

Listening to the live commentary i think it's between Moutinho and the Donk for mom and the Donk gets it for the sheer amount of times he was where he needed to be.

3 wins against three sides in the middle league group. Excellent

Delighted. Utterly delighted. Dunno why but was nervous through a lot of this (bad memories I guess - bloody Bilyaletdinov)

Real gap opening up between us and the rest for 7th now. This is totally on.

Decent chance to be 2nd on MotD too :Victory:

Someone posted up a thread to an Everton forum after the first game of the season, where they were saying the disgraceful ref had cost them 3 points, that we were terrible and could clearly be relegated, and that they'd kill us at theres.

Bloody brilliant

11 wins in a Premier League season already.

38 points before the first week of February is out. A minimum of 3 points clear in seventh at the end of the round of games.

Magnificent stuff. I am so happy I could burst.

Tbf if you went onto an Everton forum this morning you'd probably find the same. I know most clubs have fans that are a bit insular and delusional but they seem to have a very high % for some reason.

That 2nd half was as clinical and composed a performance as you'll get. Totally in control. Dendonker gets my MOTM, his inclusion in the midfield has been the catalyst for a great run and today he showed why: comfortable, strong and full of energy, a superb performance from the Donk today. Moutinho and Coady also great.

Difficult to call the MoTM from just the commentary, but Dendoncker performed well as did Moutinho

TSN now talking about a big club coming in for Nuno in the summer. Surprised it took this long, tbf.

Nuno's not going anywhere IMO. He can achieve glory here, and he'll have all the resources he wants to do it.

Yep. It's been fun to see how other fanbases react to our games this season and there's been some proper idiots among the Newcastle and Chelsea lots, but Everton take the fucking cake for the most vocally delusional by some distance. It's very odd.

They don't have a clue about the project. Nuno doesn't need to leave to join the big boys. We are going to be with the big boys.

Be surprised if he does - he has the love here & the funds behind him to go wherever he wants

Really not sure that any of the current top 6 can give him that

Plus a load more pressure on those teams - we aren't in that stratosphere yet

I see absolutely no reason why Nuno would leave. Fosun's ambition is quite clear and he probably has access to whatever transfer funds are appropriate. WE are just a bloody well run club at the moment and the "big 6" is going to become the "big 7"
