Ever changing face of Wolves

Really want to search up lemonjelly's statue on there now

It's been closed for "refurbishment" since the start of the year.

I think this has been posted before (by me!), but just popped up again - some great shots of Wolverhampton in the 70s and 80s:

The best memory of course being the 59 bus stop - and 68! - to and from sunny Wednesfield between the church and the Poly. ;-)

Whose coming to Wolverhampton so much that extra hotel space is needed?

I haven’t been in the Town centre for over 12 months and then it was just an appointment at my late Father’s Bank.
I can’t remember the last time I shopped in the Town centre.

Lots of people. Given it's one of the largest cities in England and a major employment centre, plenty of Premier Inn-type business customers will.

I'm guessing it was before 31 January 2001... ;)
