The plan is to let Derby tire themselves out by attacking us so much and then turn it round in the last 20 mins lol

Can't wait until full time as this performance is too abject. The back four are woeful.
Lonergan's clearance for the first was terrible, and he should have done better with the initial shot. No he did not 'redeem' himself with other saves as the damage was already done.
Batth is clearly not communicating properly with either CBJ or Iorfa as they are constantly marking the same man etc. Terrible for our captain. Not good enough at all.
Iorfa has to learn to kick a fucking football. He's always been awkward but almost every pass is misplaced. At CB that's a disaster. He's also far too gangly and not in control of his legs, he can't keep his balance, he's just totally unsuited to be a CB! Weird as that's where he played for years but I just can't see it. Oh, and his heading ability is terrible for a man of his height.
CBJ never seems to have a clue where Ince is.
The tactic of the fullbacks moving into CM has to stop. Nice idea, but Rob Edwards isn't Pep and we're not Man City. They aren't good enough footballers to influence the game from there, and they can't overlap at all, which is the part of being a full back they're good at! It also leaves huge spaces down our flanks, that is being exploited over and over. Then when it goes down there, we don't have the communication to restore our positions properly, which led to the second goal. Finally, Doherty is getting forward still, but he's underlapping on his weak foot! If he was at LB, he'd be on his stronger foot. Move him back if he's gonna play and we're gonna keep this system. Tbh I think he should be there anyway. And we should ditch the idea regardless.
As for everyone else, we've looked like we could be threatening without ever being so. Rubbish. Rob Edwards has a very very long way to go before anyone should consider him as a potential first team manager.

Let's put this in perspective. We are being thrashed at home by a side who had scored 9 goals all season and only 2 in the first half. Lambert has a hell of a job. I don't think I have been as disappointed with how a season has nose dived given how optimistic we all were with the takeover and the window. We need a miracle

Not too pleasant on the terraces at half time, shockingly poor stuff, can't really understand why Edwards continues to be scapegoated while the foreign contingent despite being absolutely abysmal get away Scot free.

You'd think we were playing our U16 team (though not sure that they would have been this bad)
Defence - there isn't one
Midfield - missing for most of the game & even when they get the ball it is so noticeable that there is no pass on for them so the ball just goes backwards again
Up front - nothing happening on the odd few times the ball has got there - Jon Dadi not managing to hold the ball up long enough for anyone else to join in.
Booing at half time won't help though

One of the worst halves of football I can remember from a Wolves side. Lonergan has redeemed himself somewhat with a couple of great saves. Iorfa and Batth are not even L2 standard on that showing. Full-backs terrible positionally. Teixiera confidence will be absolutely shot to pieces, not sure of the reasoning behind taking him off for Saville. Coady and Edwards running around a lot but what a shock that Derby are running through us with those 2 attempting to be a central pairing. No service for Costa, Cav or Bod (who has lost the ball every time its gone near him)
