Derby (A) match thread

Jota racing in Huddlestone joining him and he's just strong enough to steal it from Jota.
Enobakhare fast running with and breaking attack...
Corner ball and everyone's in and it's cleared.
Rooney scores for Everton.

Quick break - Neves up the right

Just slightly too much on the cross which Jota cannot reach, but Keogh puts behind for a corner

Half time - a good first half & that didn't happen last season often

Derby not given us massive problems & our formation has given them headaches as their wingers weren't tracking back

Rowett will no doubt have words with them at half time so another goal for us will be more than helpful

Are we looking at a different 2nd half?
Can Derby give us the same sort of freedom in the 2nd half? Doubtful...

Pretty close so far but some good stuff from Jota, Bonatini and Douglas. Bonatini very close to scoring Douglas goal fortunate but even Derby comms admitting they are struggling to create clear cut chances.

Paul Simpson clicheing it 'Let's see if they can do it over the winter'.

It sounds like it tools us a bit to get into the game and then took over. Most of our good play going down the wide areas.

Was a hard start to the season - Boro at home & Derby away

Doing more than enough to make me happy so far whatever the ultimate result in this game.

We will still have more to come as we get more used to this system - Derby will not give us as much space in the second half, but we are ahead so they have got to come forward which may leave gaps - Coady making the 'last man in defence' his own position

Ruddy good save from Martin after Coady loses one over his head - it's a weakness he has

Derby on the attack, which could be expected - keep them quiet for 10 - 15 mins & it will die down again

Coady defending well against Martin and he shepherds it out for a corner, Huddlestone whips it in, Saiss heads it back in but it's cleared nicely. Derby pressuring us a bit here..
Jota on the break puts a ball towards Doherty. Derby arguing amongst themselves as to just who the fuck is picking up Doherty?

Boo, Mansfield one up against Forest Green.

Jota on a break - Wisdom gets a great tackle in just before he can get his shot off

Jota can't believe that he has been relieved of the ball there
