Oh yeah. Technically we can play Hoever and Cundle in this game. Loans have ended at Stoke and as they were both born after 1 January 2002 (just about), it doesn't matter that we didn't name them in our PL squad in February of this year.

We won't though.

Don't think we could. Loans are window to window and we'd be Cundle's 3rd team which you can't do can you?

Edited about Cundle but I'm pretty sure we can use Hoever if we want. There's no registration rule saying we can't. We just weren't allowed to call him back early.

We've fielded players in PL2 who are still actually on loan elsewhere in the past. Might even have done it this season.

We have played Farmer after he came back from Rushall, but I thought it was different rules at that level

Olise & Eze will run rings around our defence - Dawson is the only defender at the club that could probably go up against Mateta physically and he’s out. Their defence is pretty solid.

Just more that they’re playing with a plan, with confidence and have pace/power in the right areas - where as we look like the predictable end of season mess which is to be expected given how much we’ve flogged our squad this year.

I don't think they are much if any better than us player for player, as Johnny said their formation/coaching suits them better. Munez, got more assists last night than Semedo has all season at RWB

Their fully firing first 11 isn’t better than ours, they’re in good form but still have holes to exploit. Our midfield for starters is far stronger even if Wharton has been in good form.

I'd take Mateta over Hwang, Andersen and Guehi over any of our CB's.

Not a lot between Cunha/ Neto and Eze/ Olise.

Munoz has better output than Semedo too.

Glasner is far better than GoN.

The biggest thing is they operate as a team and look streets ahead of us.
