Neto ran left into trouble when a simple pass inside opens up the whole right hand side with a likely 1 v 1. Donck won possession in a good area and passed to a man in trouble rather than taking time and picking a better option. That’s why it’s been coming back rather than personnel

I *sort* of get the idea. Keep it tight - sit in. But the problem is, you can’t play 90 minutes of literally just defending and offering nothing going forward.

If it carries on as it is, it’s only a matter of time before they score. Need to try and lay a glove on them occasionally too.

They’ve still got 3 players surrounding the ball every time we break so just giving it to Neto isn’t going to work.
Chelsea are playing well, seems like a classic case of downing tools for Frank and not they’re trying again.

Positives are we look solid defensively so far. Startiglng to grow into it bit by bit too.
