Chelsea (A) 8/11/25

8 points adrift from safety, call it 9 with the goal difference - after 11 games.

Quality effort, that.

James Collins has been a complete fraud on this caretaker manager role. May has well gave it to one of us, it would have been an interesting carefree evening.

Agree it...

I think he only suprisded me putting mane on the lineup, seem a decent ofensive player idk by dont play more. I view better Mane vs Hawke.

But the lineup and other changes are like ONeil and Victor Pereira, idk by all are using the same tactics...

In that position down, need find victory. And this game are good to start working on that, and for that need turn to ofensive tactics.

Chelsea's first goal: Toti getting plenty from Cahill and Seaman. Totally unaware.
Tchatchoua at fault as well, playing people onside.
In footballing terms: thick.

Did anyone else hear those chickenshit commentators mention something about 'Wolves backroom guys will be busy printing RE onto the tracksuits now'...?

Agree with the comments about Santi running in treacle, but ask yourself where was Tchatchou? It was his job to mark Garnacho? which he did OK in the 1st half, but he disappeared in the 2nd half.
Same with the other WB, who handled Neto well in the 1st half, but that wing opened wide in the 2nd half.

Good luck to RE trying to re-educate our players to play the game to a decent level.

Yeah, I thought the same, Bueno should never have been out there one on one with Garnacho.

There's no re-educating Jackson or H Bueno, both are truly terrible defenders. You could maybe make a case for either as a wide midfielder or forward, but not defenders - they are a joke.

There not educating half the bloody squad. Rob Edwards must realise he's walking into a cauldron of vile hatred towards Fosun week in week out now.

I wonder how long it'll take RE to hit the GON wall and realise how limited and unfit for purpose his squad is (and GON had a significantly better one)

Rather suspect Jackson was being encouraged to play higher up the pitch, potentially as an outball, and/or support to JSL, with Krejci playing in midfield but dropping into the back line a helluva lot?

We need to look at some of our younger players.
Look what Angers have managed to do. (Google Guardian article).

Yep. I’d like to see us try Mosquera (based purely on seeing him look good at RB for Villarreal) and Wolfe (sort of looks like a full back) in a back four and go from there.

You might have seen I don’t think much of the managerial appointment, so I fear it’s going to be more of the same back five musical chairs. That’s crackers, as you could put 10 at the back and we’d still leak like a sieve.

Yeah I would go with those two at full back for a few games at least. Obviously we have a couple of CMs who are a shoe in if either can be bothered. It's up front and creative players we have a massive problem, surely Tolu has to be given a decent go as Larsen is either not fit (shouldn't play then), completely demoralised or has just given up.

Get a left winger in who can chuck a ball in and just go for a mutant 442 is the only way we'll be competitive in games imo. There's no point in spending big money in January and being fucked in the summer. It's too late now

Pretty much the only thing H Beuno has going for him is semi-competent ability to swing the ball in, stick him there - the shit Baz Douglas that he is.

Excuse me but I think you'll find he's a shit Lee Naylor.
