Gah, I hate it already. Showing a random L1 game after the first Championship game, advert break after 10 minutes, pointless "banter" with some plank in the studio, camera angles straight out of Indie Club off the Fast Show. Just stop it, for the love of God.

More on there of our game than was shown on C5 (I don't know how Evans missed at the end for them). I think I'll make my "own" show out of them in future, if I fancy jazzing it up I'll just flick my lights on and off a bit and stick my laptop on top of the fridge every now and then.

Fucking hell - I'm struggling to think of a worse football show. It's appalling in every single way. There was me thinking the awful reviews it got was OTT. Far from it.

I'd be surprised if the format of the show last for long, didn't help it overlapped with MOTD.
As I've said you don't need two presenters and an audience and what people think on Twitter.
It's all about the action and manager opinion.
Keep it simple don't try to re-invent the wheel.

Whoever wrote the autocue needs shooting - pretty much everything the presenters said was more cringeworthy than Alan Partridge talking to Glen Ponder. Martin Allen clearly hated it as much as everyone else, the bizarre order of games was nonsensical, the studio audience looked confused/drugged/simple and as for the league tables....??! :icon_lol:

I didn't mind the order of games, even if it didn't make any sense, but what a mess of a show. There is so much that can be done with football highlights but that was an unmittigated disaster.

I felt for Riley as he's decent but Cates looked as uncomrtable as I've seen a presenter in quite a while. Martin Allen is still one of the biggest pricks in football but asking him to comment on his own game was a new low. I tried to see the good in it but there really isn't any.

Riley and Cates are experienced presenters and may have some choice words to say to the producers etc, can't imagine they'll be happy with the bad press they're being associated with.
