Championship 15/16

Derby fans at work couldn't understand why I thought buying over priced over the hill players was a bad idea. Without Will Hughes they are screwed, everyone else, bar ince, is a slow clogger

Unless he's a fantastic manager (Clement) I don't fancy them as much as people have so far. Money could have been spent a lot better.

Think it's been mentioned on here before, signing Bent looks alright on paper because he will score goals at this level, however because he's on silly money he has to play every single game, and he's such an idle bastard it really affects the general shape of their game.

Here we go then with Channel 5's offering for the Football League highlights. I suspect they're going to cram it full of extraneous crap and not show enough action, let's see.

Gah, I hate it already. Showing a random L1 game after the first Championship game, advert break after 10 minutes, pointless "banter" with some plank in the studio, camera angles straight out of Indie Club off the Fast Show. Just stop it, for the love of God.

Guess it is not good then..

Outside of the highlights this is going to be a massive pile of shite.

The angles, music and lighting are genuinely giving me a headache. Whoever drew this up has never watched football in his or her life.

Very disjointed already, why try to re-invent the wheel? Simple one presenter one pundit. Goals, chances, dodgy decisions and manager thoughts.

Love to read Dans rants :)

Brentfords pitch is diabolical for a new season.

Fair play to Dave, he didn't celebrate it.

This programme is truly awful. Why do they all keep looking down the camera? :icon_lol:

Rotherhams defending was absolutely comical there.

Miracle the ref missed that, Edwards reaction said it all. Awful studio links between the highlights, it is their first show so plenty of time to iron things out.

The positive is most Saturday nights I'm in the pub so will miss this crap. I've had my quota for today so laid up on the sofa.

Yeah, trying not to be too critical but studio audiences, why?, I blame Top Gear.

Looks like they have allowed the work experience kids to plan & front the show - so much pointless rubbish, there's no point in asking the audience a question if they are not miked up so even the presenters have to admit on air that they have no idea what he said (though for the rest of us that was probably a bonus & would be better if they weren't there anyway).

Really looks like they are making it up as they go
