Bristol City (A) FA Cup 3rd Round 11/01/25 12pm

If you're happy with that performance against a mid-table championship side, have at it champ (y)
Easily went 2-0 up and we're the better team overall, plenty of chances to score more, and they only scored with a decent free kick. Other than that what did they create? They hit the bar from another set-piece and that was it.

It was comfortable in the end.

More Gon than Vic 2nd half.
Though santi marshalled defence well, still not convinced by Ran, though vic has reined him in a bit.
Aggbadoo was new boy at the prom today, played relatively safe.
Sarabia, bellegarde, just not up to it at allguedes wishy washy, though hwang should resign from football in general, two perfect strikers opportunities, and sweet fa, didn't even get them on target.
I just don't like anything about johnstone, not anything.

I missed the first half an hour of the game, but that 2nd half was abysmal. We have too many average to poor players regularly getting games. Hwang, Bellegarde, and Sarabia all need binning. They all have a lack of ability and/or bad attitude. I'd happily never see any of them pull on a Wolves shirt again. Atrocious footballers. Bueno and Doc played ok, Joao and Rodrigo Gomes fairly decent. Other than that, pretty bloody poor.

Thought we were 2nd to every loose ball and lost most 50/50 challenges.

Agba getting some mixed reviews, most seem happy with his defending but a few questioning his ability on the ball. Obviously it's very early but hope he can improve that.
Apparently not played for a month and no doubt a few nerves.

His passing was very mixed, knocked the ball out of play under little pressure a couple of times. He was fine defensively but Bristol City didn't test us much really. Way too early to tell with him, hopefully he's at least serviceable.

He wasn't expensive, so i am not expecting him to be an all rounder. I hope that he's a solid head and kick it "proper" defender. As much as it would be nice for him to be like Rio Ferdinand on the ball, an ability to help defend a cross is what we need.

Ideal game for him to use at a settler.

Been a long old week for him really where football is a background thing. Straight in, get any nerves out of the way and hopefully sets him up for his PL debut.
