Christ, Sunday games at midday. Never liked them when we could go to games, dislike them even more now we can't.

Anyway, think it's fair to say we can rule Boly out of the rest of the season if he's struggling as badly as they're suggesting, and his health obviously comes first.

Hopefully RAN is ok as we don't actually have anyone proper to play there (Kilman did fine when he came on for 10 minutes...but up against nothing and I would never want to start him there).

We're short on options, really. I don't think Corbeanu, Marques or Richards are at the stage where we could throw them in, even in a game that means nothing. Doesn't leave us with much. Podence did nothing to suggest he shouldn't remain out of the starting XI.

If we wanted to go a bit maverick (and as I say, I don't think Theo Messi is as good/ready as people seem to think he is right now) we could go:

---------------------------Rui---------------------

Semedo-------Otasowie--------Coady-------RAN

------------------------Neves--------------------

----------------Vitinha--------MGW----------------

---------Adama--------Fabio-------Corbeanu----

But I doubt it. It'll be broadly similar to yesterday.

2020/21: D 3-3 (A)
2019/20: D 0-0 (H), D 2-2 (A)
2018/19: D 0-0 (H), L 0-1 (A)
2016/17: L 0-2 (H), L 0-1 (A)
2015/16: D 0-0 (H), W 1-0 (A)
2014/15: D 1-1 (H), D 1-1 (A)
2012/13: D 3-3 (H), L 0-2 (A)
2005/6: W 1-0 (H), D 1-1 (A)
2004/5: D 1-1 (H), W 1-0 (A)
2002/3: D 1-1 (H), L 1-4 (A)

Same team as yesterday for me, but I'd like to give Corbeanu a few minutes at the end and maybe bring MGW on in the 60th/70th minute to give him a bit more time to settle into the game and have an influence.

Swap MGW in for Otasowie or Traore from last nights team, for me.

I too would like to see Corbeanu get some minutes.

WTF midday!!?? Will be missing this one then. Flipping annoying as the kids are playing away at Wolverhampton.

Rui
Semedo - Saiss - Coady - RAN
Neves - Otasowie
MGW - Vitinha - Traore
Fabio

Saiss at RCB for our much missed dr who baddie :)

If RAN isn't available I'd like to see Richards at LB. I really rate him.

Why would you play Traore when his last two performances were his worst in a Wolves shirt.

May as well learn something about the younger players than someone who isn’t going to be here next season.

Not a hope on Richards. He's nothing like ready.

It'd probably be Semedo LB and Hoever RB which we did at Palace. I try not to think about that game too much. Not since the days of McGhee have I seen us go 1-0 down and show such little threat to get back into it.

I respectfully disagree, from what I've seen in the u23s he shown he is. To me anyway, strong enough that he won't get bullied and I think he'll be fine positionally. Decent on the ball and has a football brain.

I'd trust him.

I respect your opinion man, but it's a kid who isn't even first choice in either of his two positions for Ireland U21s, and let me tell you that they do not have a stellar crop keeping him out.

He might turn out to be good. He won't do that on Sunday.

I'd like to see MGW in behind Fabio and Vitinha alongside Neves instead of Donck. There's a concern that's a bit lightweight but I'd like to find out. Can move Otasowie inside, MGW to the right and Vitinha further towards if it's not working.

Semedo left and Hoever right if RAN is out. No real improvements available at CH, I'd marginally rather have Saiss there than Donck.

Think this would be my preference (although Traore was pants last night) wouldn't bother me if Donk was instead of OO, thought he was fine as DM last night......probably be worth giving Otasowie a go in there though....we know what Donk can do.

I don't see OO as a DM, he's either a CM or a CAM for me.

I think he looks like he's more of a DM that he actually is. I.e. His physical attributes make him look like he should be an excellent CB or DM.

Going on last night (yes I know he was playing wide right) he looks to have the attributes of a box to box midfielder, obviously a lot of development needed yet.

Rui
Hoever - Dendonker - Coady - Semedo
Otasowie
Traore- Vitinha -Neves- Podence
Fabio

4-1-4-1 ( Based on absolutely nothing other than its worth a try.)

Brighton are our bogey side. The results that Deutschwolf posted says it all.

Well, we've only lost to them once at home in the last 30 years.

Huddersfield are the worst we have. Or Morecambe.
