The framework will crumble if those behind it get cherry picked by other clubs.

See Dan Ashworth at WBA - it started to crumble a bit there when he moved to the FA. He's at Newcastle now and doing pretty well there.
Tony Bloom is the main person behind our successful recruitment strategy and he’ll not be bought for any price!

Of course there is one weakness with this model and that is if the man himself goes in one form or another.

I think you've landed lucky that he is who he is though, so fair play.

I'd absolutely love your owner rather than the shitbeaks we have.

With three years at BHA between the FA and Newcastle. Still lives in Tettenhall as well.

Couple things from Gary O'Neil's presser:

- Admits squad is 'a tad short' in a few areas and 'we'll see' on any signings
- Lemina 'huge part' of squad and no interest in letting him go (some rumours of Liverpool interest)
- No fresh injuries ahead of tomorrow's game

The people who manage the socials aren't privy to things like starting line ups or transfer activity. They put out what they think will get the most activity, they won't be given weird directives like 'push Fábio Silva this week' like he's a special on a restaurants menu.

I'd be willing to bet that they absolutely get directives like this, just without any greater context whatsoever (and probably wouldn't be enlightened about it even if they asked). Chasing engagement is part of the equation but IMO organizations at our size will have PR narratives they'll want to push, and social media is about as direct a way of doing that as you can get.

Tomorrow we will be in Austria, in celebration I'm hoping for a Sasa hat trick (or at least a winning goal) so that I can run around Mayrhofen in the evening shouting "he's our Austrian wolf ay ee" or some such silliness.

Might be wishful thinking , but you'd like to think that the 6 - 0 last season at the Amex will provide some kind of motivation to the players to step it up tomorrow .
It's not that long ago and a lot of players that will don the Wolves shirt tomorrow were playing that day .
