Boxing thread

I'd describe myself as a casual observer rather than a fan of boxing these days, but it seems to be polarised between circus fights at one end and super bouts with the stench of sports washing at the other. I'm sure there's plenty in between, but it doesn't seem to get much publicity.

Same here.

Fury ring walk like a deranged hobo and Usyk turns up as Sinbad the Sailor.

I’d have Tyson up by a round half way through. Usyk on top in the sixth though.

Not quite done enough to take the title from him.

I think Fury might have just nicked that tbh but can't complain either way again so close.

Mad score cards he never won by 4 rounds in a million years

Usyk pissed it IMO. Didn’t look bothered or hurt at any point.

Only had the radio commentary too. There is a bit of an understandable lean towards Fury, but they’re fairly even handed, so the scorecards were a bit of a surprise.

Blimey they haven’t taken that well have they

Usyk is incredible isn’t he? Fury isn’t just colossal, he’s incredibly talented and trained to go the distance. To win twice against someone that good, with such a clear physical disadvantage, is remarkable. What a sportsman.

I had 115 113 usyk. So having one round swing isn’t madness as a lot were close. Felt Usyk worthy winner though . Not sure how the AI judge got 118-112 though…
