Bournemouth (H) 18/2: Build-Up & Match Thread

Southampton take the lead at Chelsea

Very poor half that. They've let us play and so far all we've come up with is slow side to side and then give it to the circus freak. Who, one run apart has been shocking.

Love Moutinho but he can’t get around quick enough to glue the front three with the rest. That’s the crux of the issue, IMO.

Not watching the same match as me! 😂

We've played well without creating anything of note. Semedo has been outstanding. Sarabia has looked pretty good to me, not sure why someone said he'd been poor? Traore has been Traore, both brilliant and useless in the same passage of play sometimes. Cunha has again been a disappointment.

We haven't got a central attacking player on the pitch in the final third. Bournemouth have packed the middle and headed and kicked away anything in there.

Sarabia looks a bit too Daniel Podence for me.

Neat, tidy, lots of decent interplay but absolutely fuck all cutting edge.

Sarabia hasn't really done much ultimately. His crossing has been poor and he has barely got into the middle.

Would like to see Bueno on the ball more in the attack, think he can hurt them

We are better set up, we play with more intensity, we try to be more creative. We still don't have a goalscorer

We’re really clutching at straws to call anyone outright poor in that half, IMO.

I mean, it's an opinion you're entitled to but I don't think you could have got it more wrong to be honest.

Interesting, which part in particular? Because we didn't create anything of note and Adama has been a mix of Djimi Traore and Freddie Eastwood.

I'd be bringing Jimenez on sooner rather than later personally. Probably for Moutinho, and go two up top with Cunha.
