If the club rate Mane as highly as they say he could play in this one, probably worth a look considering the lack of attacking options that are fit for purpose.

It’s one step away from an FA Cup quarter final whereby Tottenham, Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea are already out.
Let’s play our best side and try and go through. There’s not another game in the league for a week FFS and only one other before the end of March. Apart from Djiga it will be madness to experiment especially as it looks likely that they’ll be a few games towards the end of the season where that can be done (if the bookies are correct).

It'll be the 3rd game in a week so there's bound to be some rotation, but we don't have another game for a week so it should be fairly strong to start with.

I'd be tempted to rest Cunha and use him from the bench and have Hwang/JSL/Sarabia as the front three. They should be good enough to cause Bournemouth's defence problems and if they aren't then there's something wrong.

.............. Johnstone

...... Djiga - Bueno - Toti

Lima - Andre - Doyle - RAN

. Sarabia - Larsen - Hwang

Maybe even start Traore for Andre, and Rodrigo for RAN if they're both fit.

Hwang and Sarabia might be too strong for Blackburn's defence but I don't see them being too strong for Bournemouth's. In particular, I don't think Sarabia would cope with the Bournemouth's physicality. He certainly wouldn't be up to defending against Bournemouth's left back if he could even get near him.

Another thing to contend with is Ait-Nouri will be fasting until sundown for Ramadan which starts tomorrow morning. It could be common sense that he doesn't start the game to help him out.

I think Boubacar Traore is the only other player from the first team observing Ramadan.

[Insert out of character low energy RAN punchline here]

JRB as well I think

We're safe now barring a major fuck up on our part.

This game decides if our season has something interesting about it from here on in. Id be really disappointed if we don't play our strongest team.

We have that capability.
