So it isn’t BEYOND the realms of possibility that Sasa may improve things. Simply because the attack just has no outlet at the moment.

Tonight was abysmal - lacking ideas, confidence, any plan at all. Lage has no clue / taking off your record signing - not any idea what to do.

Oh absolutely. And there’s every possibility Sasa may play similar to Raul as that’s how they’re being told to play. But he was a real focal point of our attack pre-injury - he would come out, link midfield, give us an option in the middle and there is just none of that anymore.

I'd be very surprised if Sasa doesn't put away the absolute sitter at the very least. By that logic, Sasa over Jiminez would have changed the complexion of the entire match.. Bournemouth would have had to attack, the game would open up... Traore hattrick (lol). We'd then be looking to go into the Southampton match with a lot less pressure to win (and my acca would still be alive).

So sad to see Raul playing as he is. Was always likely after such a terrible head injury - he had 3 chances he would have scored two seasons ago - not now. He used to be a great outlet for us, holding up the ball, not now. Sad…. Sad…. Sad.

Raul was fucking shit and there is no doubt Kalajdzic is going to be a better option than this version of Raul but it's just not going to solve our issues. We are fucking wank. Slow in attack, everyone always wants an extra touch and we let the defence reset. One player and one signing is going to do fuck all we have much much deeper issues.

Wow people still searching for reasons why Bruno should be given more time.
First 45 minutes was typically us neat, tidy but slow, predictable and zero tempo an absolute waste of time.
But 12 without a win the league now. Even if you think it’s a case of not being backed etc or needs time with new players it doesn’t give him a free pass to be incapable of winning at least 1 of those games.
To sum up our start this season we’ve played Leeds, Fulham, Spurs, Newcastle, Bournemouth.

It’s a borderline disastrous start to the season. By the time we hit 10 games we’ll probably be on about 6 points if we’re lucky.
Basically we’re wasting games whilst Bruno is in charge and the longer he stays the closer we’ll get to relegation if he was given all this season im convinced we’ll go down.

Have they really backed 'him' though? How many of the signings were for him? We needed signings any way. Collins/Nunes are surely good signings for any squad/manager and Guedes has been linked with us for ages. Not having a dig at the comment btw just wonder this whenever it's mentioned. They've backed a lacking squad IMO more than Lage
