Bennett makes an suitable agricultural challenge to stop a break away - that's clearly why he is there

Doubt Nuno is especially happy despite being ahead

Alf has been decent. Good all round battling and isn't afraid to get forward or back to help out.

Most probably instruction from Nuno but we’re missing the extra ball player in midfield to really open them up. Angles aren’t really there at the minute

That I will agree with. N'Diaye is an active player, leaves a void in midfield when Saïss has to cover for a wingback getting forward.

The only criticism I have is occasionally being too casual with a touch or pass and losing the ball as a result. The front three mainly.

Still at 1 nil there is always going to be at least a little concern. And to think, if I had not had to stay late at work I was going to see what odds I'd get on us scoring 5 or 6. Just as well I only just got in.

Quick scan of the BBC live commentary, they seem to think it should have been a red as well but they are otherwise ignoring the other kicking going on. They don't know why Nuno had a go either but mentioned it.

If you ever wondered how valuable Neves is this game shows it, Alf has done ok for me but we miss those constant options in the middle and the range of passing. I would like to see Costa coming on early 2nd half for Cav.
