Does it? It's worked once ever hasn't it.
Worked twice in a small space of time. Given the alternative option was being zero threat threat from corners then it may as well continue.

I have never been so wrong about a player as I was with Johnstone. I genuinely felt it would be good business.

How in fucks name has he been an international keeper.

The bloke is absolutely fucking atrocious.

He wasn't, they sold him the window after they got promoted
Huh? He played 34 times for Girona in 22/23 when they finished 10th in La Liga? Am I losing my mind?

"A minute to play with 10 men"... we've been playing with 10 all half Hwang has been so shit.

This is such an unfair take. Dude's made of paper but ffs.

You're just not cynical enough, Alan.

I'm fucking telling you this is another one of his lazy 'injuries' 😅

Maybe it's a case of believing what I want to (probably goes a bit without saying given the player in question).

If players really just play hookie as often as people say, I don't want anything to do with football at this level.

I've just seen this from him soooo many times in similar scenarios, I don't buy it one bit.

Put Munetsi up front second half 😍

Oh look, Hwang is injured. Colour me shocked.
Probably was for the best. Off before he gets to demonstrate that he's not even a Championship level player.

With a bit of luck we can get him fit and ship him off to the MLS post season.

If it's not laziness then there's definitely a degree of choice in refusing to play through a tweak or a bit of pain
Maybe so, being who I am, though, I'd prefer to give him the benefit of the doubt. Only he really knows how his body feels.

That said, maybe I really do just underestimate the cultural differences in sport from America to Europe. Extremely accustomed to players fighting through damn near any knock to stay on the field. Obviously that has its own downsides (don't lie about concussions, you machismo fucks), but it would just be so horrifically disappointing to me if any professional making more than half my annual wage in a week would just say "I could keep playing, but nah".

Honestly, that would turn my opinion of Hwang on a fucking dime.
