Away Shirt - have I got a fake ?

I've bought a Wolves away shirt - first glance look ok, has the Adidas label etc and stitching looks ok but alarm bells started ringing as I bought an XL which are usually massive to cater for the average rotund football fan, is very small for an XL. They have said its from the club shop but surplus to requirements.

The label says Made in Thailand - does anyone who has one from the club shop got one that says the same ?

I haven't been at the pies so just surprised its so 'snug'

Thanks

Ill check mine tonight, its the home kit, and get back to you regarding the origin.

However, I think there were reports saying the size were a bit tighter than Puma kits.

EDIT: Just had a look. My home kit was made in thailand.

If its much tighter than normal then yes I would say its a fake. My kids usually want to buy the fake kits from the beach in spain - they are almost always a size or two smaller than originals

It's possibly not, When I got one I was told they were smaller than normal so I actually went up a size.
that only just fitted

My Home Shirt - Made in Thailand
My Away Shirt - Made in Vietnam

On the fit - To me it is slightly bigger than the norm

Don't know where my home kit was manufactured but I've got a small and it is still slightly too big for me. Although, that could say more about my size than the size of the shirt. It is the first top I've had since the Burrda ones (which were a terrible fit) so I can't really compare.

I have a home shirt and I find the fakes are slightly brighter than the real thing and you can tell the difference between the addidas quality of the shirt and a replica. In regards to size Addidas’ shirts are more fitted than the puma

I imagine the 3 d's give it away James. ;)

Last years Puma were a very small fit, I had to have XL. This years Adidas are a larger fit and I have Large, although the away shirt feels a snugger fit than the home one.

I bought the home and away, both are made in Thailand. The away is tighter than the home and it's a slightly different weave.
My son will be getting the away as part of his Christmas present as he's not not quite as chunky as me being 24 years younger!
I normally take a size L (My Adidas England ODI day shirt and Le Coq Sportif Wolves shirts are L and fit fine) Had to get an XL for this seasons Wolves shirts though. I'd say they are Asian sizes.
Fosun doing it on the cheap. Ha.

Can't say I've noticed any away fakes, but a home away top sticks out like a sore thumb.

My home shirt this season is the same size (on the label) as the Puma one I had last year but where the Puma one was snug and clingy, the Adidas one is rather baggy and I could have got away with a size smaller

Are you sure you've not just been really ill and not noticed?

Not that I'm aware of but then it may help my current predicament if I were
