Jonny’s pressing is vital. And he’s just made an absolute wordly of a block. Wouldn’t be taking him off at all.

Jota should have scored. He’s trying to rip the net off and could have side footed it in to the empty net.

I don’t think Donk gives us enough - he’s excellent defensively, works hard, good in the air - but as the breaking midfielder in a 3, he gives us almost nothing going forwards.

This is peak Wolves. Strong at the back, controlling the ball and had a good couple of chances.

Hopefully we go strength to strength in the second.

You can't legislate for Nylands fuck up and Diogo rushes it, should've done much better.

We haven't moved them around as much as we did against West Ham in the first half. The forwards need to do better, Raul less greedy Jota's first touch is continually heavy.

Grealish plays like Afobe in the Autumn of 2015. He thinks he's the best player and therefore should have the ball all over the pitch, he'd be more dangerous and their forwards less isolated if he stayed up the pitch rather than coming to collect it outside his own box

Yeah, I agree. Nuno won’t change anything that early, though.

We definitely grew in to the game. Smith will have them organised for the first 10-15 mins after half time and then we’ll bring on Adama and Neto.
